CAMPA was established under Ministry of Environment & Forest, Government of India for depositing the Net Present Value and Compensatory Afforestation money on account of diversion of forest land for non-forestry purposes and to utilise the money in phased manner to carry out CA and other forestry works. The money is being released yearly to State/ UT governments for raising Compensatory Afforestation and other forestry related works under NPV.
Now it has become mandatory for state governments to carry out monitoring of CAMPA works by third party.
Novlok Welfare Society was chosen for carrying out Monitoring Evaluation of CAMPA works carried out by Haryana Forest Department during the year 2010-2011 .
Novlok Welfare Society carried out these monitoring works in all 4 circles — North, South, Central and West Circle.
